Strong Bodies Group Exercise Class
The Strong Bodies sessions are expertly run by our clinical team, providing an ideal way to exercise in a safe, guided, and closely supervised environment. Through Strong Bodies, you will be able to safely progress your gym-based exercises, utilizing progressive load with our specialised gym equipment and free weights.
We strongly believe that exercise must be tailored to your individual goals, medical history, specific injury, and current functional level. Our classes seamlessly blend the community feel and consistency of group training with bespoke individualisation, ensuring you get exactly what your body needs to rebuild capacity. To get involved, an initial consultation is required to identify your fitness goals, complete a musculoskeletal history, and conduct functional baseline tests.
The Strong Bodies class is highly beneficial for managing a variety of specific conditions, including:
- Recurrent back pain
- Tendinopathy and tendon repairs
- Osteoarthritis
- Pre- and post-surgery or fracture rehabilitation
- ACL rehabilitation
- Young athlete development
Classes run for up to 60 minutes and maintain a strict limit of 5 participants to guarantee that you receive close attention and personalised coaching from our expert clinical team throughout the session. Every class involves targeted warm-ups and prehabilitation exercises aimed at enhancing mobility, stability, and muscle activation before we coach you through a custom program.

Recovery timelines vary significantly depending on the severity of your injury and the specific nature of your condition, such as managing osteoarthritis versus post-operative rehabilitation. Our classes are strictly limited to five participants so the rehabilitation physiotherapist can closely supervise everyone. If you are less confident in a gym environment or performing a new exercise for the first time, the physio will guide you through it safely and provide technique feedback.
All participants must bring their own towel and drink bottle. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement, and if you use a phone app to track your own exercise program, you are highly encouraged to bring that along.
