We use VALD force plates, force frame and dynamometers, to capture precise, objective data on your strength, power, and movement metrics.

Individualised Action Plans

Your test results translate directly into a bespoke rehabilitation or performance program, designed specifically for your body and your athletic goals.

Targeted Injury Risk Mitigation

By highlighting biomechanical deficits early, we proactively address movement faults to reduce your injury risk and optimise your movement economy.

What to expect in a session?

Our expert physiotherapists guide you through a comprehensive clinical and biomechanical evaluation, ensuring a comfortable, informative, and highly specific testing environment.

In-Depth Clinical Screening

Every assessment begins with a thorough discussion of your medical history, current training load, and specific performance goals to ensure we target your exact needs.

Technology-Assisted Testing

Depending on your assessment, you will perform specific movements—such as jumping, running on a treadmill, or pointe work—while we capture real-time kinematic and kinetic data.

Real-Time Feedback & Reporting

We break down your results immediately, providing clear, actionable feedback and comprehensive reporting to guide your ongoing training. With your consent, we can also share these reports directly with your coaches or dance teachers to ensure a fully collaborative approach to your performance and recovery.

FAQ

Who can benefit from Movement Analysis?

Athletes of all levels, runners experiencing pain, dancers preparing for pointe work, and individuals recovering from lower limb injuries can all benefit from our tailored biomechanical assessments.

Do I need an injury to book an assessment?

No. While our assessments are excellent for injury rehabilitation, they are equally valuable for healthy individuals looking to optimise athletic performance, improve running economy, and prevent future issues.

What should I wear to my assessment?

Please wear comfortable, tight-fitting athletic clothing (such as shorts and a singlet) that allows us to clearly observe your joint movements. Bring the footwear relevant to your sport, such as your current running shoes or dance footwear.

How long does an assessment take?

Most movement and performance assessments take between 45 to 60 minutes. This allows ample time for comprehensive testing, data analysis, and a discussion regarding your tailored management plan.

What happens after the assessment?

You will receive a detailed report outlining your key metrics. Our clinical team will use this objective data to prescribe a targeted exercise program, footwear recommendations, or technique modifications to address your specific needs.
