Lauren McCaffrey

Lauren graduated from the Australian Catholic University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy.

We first met Lauren in  2021 when she undertook a physiotherapy internship with the Sydney Kings NBL and Sydney Flames WNBL teams.

‍

Based at our Lewisham clinic, Lauren also works with the Sydney Flames WNBL team and the UTS Randwick Sparks Netball team. 

‍

 In 2023  Lauren took on the role of team physiotherapist for UTS Basketball who compete in the Australian University basketball League.

‍

As a former WNBL1 basketball player, Lauren understands the physical and psychosocial demands of a competitive environment. She has a keen interest in injury management and is passionate about supporting people at all levels to achieve their individual and team performance goals.

‍

Lauren has also completed certification as a GLA:D provider for the management of hip and knee osteoarthritis, and is running classes at Zone 34 to help people better manage their arthritic conditions.

‍

Lauren brings enthusiasm and genuine care to everyone she meets and is excited to be part of the Zone 34 team, providing quality service to the Inner West community.
